Privacy policy pursuant to Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and request for consent for the processing of personal data

This document has been prepared pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter: “Regulation”) to inform you of our privacy policy.
Pursuant to the Regulation, the processing of data by MIPU srl will be based on the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, purpose and retention limitation, data minimization, accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

2) TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING

BROWSING DATA
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This data is retained for the time necessary to carry out these activities, except in the event of investigations into cybercrime against the site.
No data deriving from the web service will be communicated or disseminated, except to fulfill obligations established by laws, regulations, or EU legislation.

DATA PROVIDED VOLUNTARILY BY USERS
The optional, explicit, and voluntary submission of information through electronic forms or by email to the addresses indicated on this site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address (which is necessary to respond to requests) as well as any other personal data requested by the form or included in the message.
The data acquired will be processed by the data controller and/or third parties, together with whom the data controller provides the service requested by the user. The data will be processed to respond to the request or to provide the service; it may also be used for informational, promotional, and commercial purposes relating to products, services, and initiatives offered by MIPU srl. Data will be disclosed to third parties only if necessary to fulfill the request received.

PURPOSE OF DATA PROCESSING FOR SENDING PERIODIC NEWSLETTERS.
With the data subject’s consent, MIPU srl may use the data voluntarily provided to periodically send email messages (newsletters) containing information of interest regarding MIPU srl and its activities.
To send newsletters, we obtain the data subject’s specific and separate consent. The data subject is hereby informed that providing such consent is entirely voluntary and that refusal will have no consequences (other than preventing the periodic sending of the newsletter).
The data subject may request removal from the newsletter service at any time by using the links in the emails received, or by writing to info@mipu.eu.

3) RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

5) PRIVACY RIGHTS PURSUANT TO ART. 15 AND FOLLOWING OF THE REGULATION

Pursuant to Articles 15 et seq. of the Regulation, you have the right to request from MIPU srl, at any time, access to your Personal Data, its rectification or erasure, or to object to its processing. You have the right to request restriction of processing in the cases provided for by Article 18 of the Regulation, as well as to obtain your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, in the cases provided for by Article 20 of the Regulation.

6) PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES

This privacy policy is effective as of August 8, 2019. MIPU srl reserves the right to modify or simply update its content, in part or in full, including due to changes in applicable legislation. MIPU srl will inform you of such changes as soon as they are introduced, and they will be binding as soon as they are published on the Site.

7) OPTIONAL NATURE OF DATA PROVISION

Aside from what is specified for browsing data, providing your data is optional. However, please note that refusal to provide the requested data will make it impossible to process the data and, consequently, to process your requests.
